Day One - 16/02/2009

woke up at 3am! bathe and get ready almost 4am~ then siew ying already on the way to my house~ so kind of her fren to fetch us to airport =) so we reach the airport around 5.15am~ went to have some light breakfast at one of the cafe~ ate kaya toast bread and drank tea~ then we checked in early around 6am~ our flight is 8.05am~

went to stroll around the shops inside~ lol!




nothing much to shop so we went to the waiting area~ went into the plane abt 7.30am~ the plane took off around 8.10am~ lol~ so the journey was 4 hours 15mins~ around 12.45pm then we reached taiwan tao yuan airport~ and by the time we reached hotel already 2.30pm like that~

so we put our luggage, sort our things and start our shopping!! =) we shop around xi men ding first =D walked around and had our late lunch~ then we walked our way to taipei city di xia jie~ its about 10mins walk~ so we try our luck =x we managed to walked there! lol! reached there abt 7pm i think! then we spent our time shopping till abt 10pm!

wanted to walked our way back but got lost among the streets..coz the junctions all quite similar~ lol! so end up taking a cab! what a bad choice! i regretted taking that cab!! coz something unexpected happened when we reached our hotel =.= kns man =x that taxi stopped opposite our hotel..and i was abt to open the door to get out..a motorcycle came from the back and hit the door! omg =.= thank god im not injured! but the door got hit la..so suay! i have to pay for the door repair -.- kns! so wasted abt $100 on that! arghh!

that's smth i nv wished for it to happen! anyway im lucky enough i didn't got hit!! gosh..really very close! i almost got hit! what a bad experience!

so that day i was quite taken aback by what happened =.= but forget it after that coz dun wan to affect my mood for the next few days!

slept around 12am that day and woke up 6.30am next day~

continue to day 2...

Day Two - 17 Feb 2009

woke up 6.30am~ lol! went to bathe and get changed, make up and went to had our breakfast at our hotel lobby~

the breakfast is the same everyday~ egg, ham, bun, orange juice, tea or coffee~ i dun really mind coz its free! lol! and its not so yucky! still edible! haha!



then around 8am the tour agency bus came~ not only 2 of us, there's 2 other pple with us for the 1 day guided tour =) and they just stay near us, rainbow hotel~ =)

so we started our one day guided tour =D went to some places like chiang kai shek memorial hall, matryr's shrine, national palace museum, jiu fen, miramar and shi lin~

first half of the day more of those historical places~ lol! quite interesting in the national palace musuem~ coz get to see a lot of jades and crystals cravings~ and some history abt them~ the matryr's shrine is see how the guards change their duty~ quite funny..coz they march from the entrance all the way into the building, swinging their rifles~ thats all =x go there just to see this only nia~

jiu fen was special..coz its located at hill top~ and sell quite a lot of soveniours =) there's one shop name is ah xing de dian~ haha not the mayday ah xin though~

then the tour guide bought us to eat at dunno where..haha! ate steamboat for lunch~ after that bought us to some locations, like honey drink/lingzhi drink shop taiwan famous goodies shop and one selling jade/crystal shop~

after that we went miramar~ we wanted to go peitou hot spring..but swimming suit not allowed! so we dun wan to go..hahaha! shy and feel uneasy =x and it was quite cold..so the tour guide suggested us to go miramar~ which we dun mind =)

its a shopping mall and there's one big tall flyer! dunno how tall it is~ so me and siew ying bought the ticket to sit =) then after that we stroll around the mall and headed our way to shi lin by ourself~ the tour guide told us we can take a free shuttle bus to shi lin just outside the mall~

so we spent our night at shi lin and took cab back to our hotel~ bought some famous eatery from shi lin to our hotel to eat =)

then we slept around 12am+ =)

ps: the photos can go my FB can see =x lazy to post here..coz very slow! haha!

3rd-5th day i'll update next few days~
